An MSc research project exploring the representation of musical characteristics through latent spaces disentanglement. By implementing sparse encoding with entropy loss, the project investigates how complex musical features can be effectively mapped to lower-dimensional representations.
Aim of the project was to create a more comprehensive representation of instantaneous musical features, such as timbre, rhythm, and harmony, in a way that is easier to manipulate and understand.
